Companion to undergraduate in the graduate program is Environmental Architecture, which greatly contributed to the department´s strength. The influence of these programs has created a philosophy that is unique to McGAN´S. This program is approved by Council of Architecture ( COA ) and the institute is Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai with an intake of 20 Seats.
Environmental Architecture is the process of facilitating decision making to carry out development with due consideration given to the natural environmental, social, political, economic and governance factors and provides a holistic frame work to achieve sustainable outcomes.
Instruction and research encompass design theory as well as visual studies, history, technology, and professional practice. The McGAN´S information infrastructure provides a foundation for design exploration and communication, offering students new ways to access design references, model buildings, and present ideas.Intelligence, creativity, sensitivity, and a thorough knowledge of the arts and sciences are essential to achieving distinguished architecture.
Scholarship will be awarded to the economically poor and meritorious students. A committee headed by Principal will submit the list of students to the Management for their consideration. The areas of selection will be from class toppers, attendance toppers, Winners in Anna University Sports tournaments, University rank obtainers. The awards will be announced during the Annual Day.
